It is published by Ubisoft and was released in early 2005. The game takes place during, and the following days, of D-Day in World War II and focuses on realistic team strategy and tactics rather than the faster paced run and gun gameplay of contemporary WW2 shooters. It was ported to the Wii in 2008, as part of the Brothers in Arms: Double Time compilation.
Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood
Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood is a video game and sequel to Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, developed by Gearbox Software for the PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox, and was later ported to the Wii in 2008 as a part of the Brothers in Arms: Double Time compilation. [edit] Characters

The main games of the series follow the men of the 101st Airborne Division's 502nd Parachute Infantry Regiment, F Company as they progress through the war. The player directly controls either Staff Sergeant Matthew Baker (Road to Hill 30, Hell's Highway) or Sgt. Joe "Red" Hartsock (Earned in Blood), and can control the members of Baker and/or Hartsock's respective squads in combat.

[edit] Future

On 18 June 2009 Gearbox Software applied to the United States Patent and Trademark Office for 4 trademarks with a "War Hero" suffix, "Brothers in Arms War Hero" being one of them.[6][7] On 25 June Gearbox's president Randy Pitchford confirmed that the company was interested in developing a "War Hero" game in the unspecified future, however he added that there was no publisher signed to the project and the company was not ready to talk about it publicly.[8]
A new game titled Brothers In Arms: Savage 7 has been sighted for sale on the website of British retailer Gamestation.[9] Although the game has not been officially announced by Gearbox, the sales date of 'late 2011' suggests a release in the not too distant future. However, the link now directs to the page for Furious 4.
